The Beijing Biddies are so reliant on all you amazing people out there to spread the word about their challenge. This is just one example of how effective social media can be in supporting charity fundraising. This post from Cancer Research UK shortly before BB1 & BB2 set off on their marathon 30 day drive to China was shared 111 times, and liked by nearly 3000 people. It has so many messages of support too.
Then there is an army of supporters who do the same, and every single time a post or message is shared, it is reaching out like ripples in a pond to help the Beijing Biddies on their way to garner as much support behind them and as many donations as possible.
This army includes the sponsors who have helped to make the challenge a reality. Without companies such as AST Signs

and more it would not have been so manageable……… although with the grit and determination shown by Edwina Sorkin and Kate sleath, they had their goal in their sights from day one and not much would have stopped them!
