And it’s party time for the Beijing Biddies
Day 30
Friday was going to be a day for the Beijing Biddies to chill out after 29 days of driving.
A leisurely breakfast was followed by a reorganisation of luggage for China.
BB1 managed to get BB2 for a sauna and massage to reenergise
Any inhibitions had to be thrown to the wind!!! BB2 was so relaxed she walked in to a plate glass door!!! Fortunately BB2 was fine and received another head massage! The door was still on its hinge!
Naturally BB1 went in pursuit of a hairdresser and returned feeling a new woman
BB1 on her trail to find a hairdresser came back with some pastries having taken her life in her hands crossing the road.
A lovely cup of tea although not Darjeeling was very much enjoyed with the pastries.
Now time to party. Although the British Embassy was already holding the evening for Cancer charities, it was deemed most appropriate to donate to our charities in light of our being there.
A Mongolian fur hat was also auctioned.
Great opportunity to form new contacts and spread the word
Hopefully some communications will now be made with the British Embassy in China.
